APPLICATION

PVA 0499, which finds applications in the medical field, pharmaceutical packaging, outer pharamaceutical base material, water-soluble films, high-resolution printing, paper making, and emulsions, is a stable and non-toxic water-soluble polymer. It appears as white or slightly yellow granules or powder.

The warp sizing material, mainly composed of PVA, is the most efficient synthetic sizing agent and fabric processing agent among sizing agents. It has good adhesion to cotton, linen, polyester, vinylon, and viscose fibers, and the sizing film is colorless and transparent, with strong toughness, wear resistance, sun resistance, and high mechanical strength. It can reduce the breakage rate of the fabric machine. Due to the small amount of sizing, the woven fabric has a smooth and delicate feel, and the surface is not rough. It can also increase the number of winding pieces and is easy to desize.

PVA(PVOH) demonstrates exceptional film-forming properties, leading to strong adhesion, resistance to solvents and friction, high tensile strength, and effective oxygen barrier. Its hydrophilic and hydrophobic properties make it an excellent protective colloid for emulsification and suspension polymerization reactions.
